What Edkin does
Edkin puts the whole school day in one app on iOS, Android, and the web, so an owner can see what needs attention without chasing registers, calls, and WhatsApp threads.
- Fees and receipts, with follow-ups that do not depend on memory.
- Attendance, marks, report cards, homework, and timetables.
- Announcements, parent-teacher meetings, and a parent app.
- Live bus tracking, the library, and role-based access for every member of staff.
- Learning Check, a free maths check on fractions for Classes 4–6 that anyone can try.
Who builds it
Edkin was founded by Konda Amith Sai and is built in Khammam, Telangana. We work directly with each school, and every school starts with a 60-90 day pilot with agreed metrics before it commits to a plan.
What we are building next
We add AI where it saves a teacher or owner real time, and a person stays in charge of anything that reaches a family.
- Live now: Animate a problem. Students snap a photo of a question, or type it, and Edkin makes a short narrated animation that explains it.
- Live now (pilot): Ask Edkin. Staff type what they need in their own words and Edkin opens the right screen. In pilot with a few staff accounts.
- Next: Practice that fits each child. After a Learning Check, AI writes an explanation and practice for the exact mistake, for the teacher to review.
- Next: Report-card remarks, drafted. A first draft for every student from the term’s marks and attendance. The teacher edits and approves it.
- Next: Questions about your school, answered. Owners and staff ask things like “which classes have the most overdue fees?” in English or Telugu, and get answers from their own records, within their access.
- Next: Lesson plans in minutes. A first draft from the syllabus topic that the teacher adapts for the class.
Where Edkin runs
Edkin’s servers and main database run in Mumbai, India. Each school controls its own records, and Edkin does not sell personal information or use school records for third-party advertising.
