Authorised access

You may use Edkin only if a participating school or Edkin has authorised your account. You must provide accurate information, keep your sign-in account secure, and promptly report suspected unauthorised access.

School responsibilities

Schools decide which users, roles, student links, modules, and records are enabled for their organisation.
Schools are responsible for the accuracy and lawful collection of the information they enter, including notices or consent relating to students and staff.
Schools must review generated timetables, routes, reports, reminders, or other automated suggestions before relying on them for an operational decision.

Acceptable use

Do not access another person or school without permission; upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing material; attempt to bypass security or usage limits; disrupt the service; scrape restricted data; or use Edkin to harm, discriminate against, or unlawfully monitor a person.

Service, plans, and changes

Features depend on the school plan, configuration, device permissions, connectivity, and third-party services. We may improve, replace, or retire features while taking reasonable care to avoid unnecessary disruption. Paid plans, renewal, migration, and support commitments are governed by the school order or agreement.

Content and intellectual property

The school and its users retain their rights in content they are authorised to provide. They grant Edkin the limited permission needed to host, process, transmit, back up, and display that content to operate the service. Edkin software, branding, design, and documentation remain protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Suspension and termination

Access may be restricted or suspended for security risks, unlawful use, serious policy breaches, non-payment under a school agreement, or a school request. When service ends, export and deletion are handled according to the school agreement, applicable law, and operational retention requirements.

Disclaimers and governing law

Edkin supports school operations but does not replace professional, medical, legal, financial, safeguarding, or emergency judgement. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided without guarantees that every feature will always be uninterrupted or error-free.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Before beginning formal proceedings, the parties should first try in good faith to resolve the issue through support@edkin.in. Mandatory consumer rights are not excluded.
